Trinity Chapel was established in 1998 under the auspices of Trinity Chapel Church and it’s founding pastor, Reverend Jim Bolin. It’s goal was to create a school in the West Cobb area that would raise the standard of excellence in education. Albert LaBoy was selected as Headmaster and continues to serve in this capacity. The school began with 35 students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd and today currently serves 300 students as a full Kindergarten through 12th grade school. 2011 will herald TCA’s first graduating Senior class. Throughout the years TCA has added a fine arts program which includes an orchestra, chorus and art program. It has also expanded its sports program to include basketball, volleyball, baseball, football, cheerleading, cross country and soccer. One of the most exciting additions has been the MacBook program. Middle and high school students are issued a MacBook in order to take notes, access textbooks, create innovative presentations and collaborate with fellow students and teachers. This program exposes students to the skills they need in order to compete in the 21st Century workforce. TCA is a school on the move. It is constantly growing and looking for ways to expand. As enrollment grows, programs will be added and built upon. God’s hand is upon this school and He has caused the growth and will continue to do so. |
